BioSocial wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and app. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

Text and controls are built to meet WCAG AA colour contrast.

Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.

Buttons, links and forms can be used with a keyboard and have names screen readers can announce.

Pages use clear headings and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them.

You can zoom pages, and layouts adapt to phones, tablets and computers.

We run automated accessibility checks as we build new features.

Known limitations

BioSocial is a prototype and some areas, like charts and posts shared by members, may not be fully accessible yet. Charts show their key numbers in text alongside the visual.
